Conversations with James Huebert, Social Worker – Retired
Jim Huebert served as a social worker with Susquehanna Health, Williamsport Facility, in Williamsport PA. He was instrumental in developing an outreach program to the Amish in the area that placed medical services in their communities. Huebert was able to negotiate the delicate alliance between Amish clergy and lay leaders on one side, and medical and health services on the other. He demonstrates a keen insight and understanding of the dynamics and needs of both systems.
